Now lets talk about its design, usability and durability.
DESIGN : 9/10
Well, I would be lying if I said that this laptop does not have any similarity with Apple Macbook Pro. When I bought this laptop in US in 2013, I used to get tempted by the sexy design of Macbooks but the super high price was a big turn-off. So, when I came across this laptop, i was blown away with its spectacular and compact design. It was like a windows-macbook-in-my-budget. I was immediately sold off on the ideapad, once I saw the specifications.
USABILITY : 7/10
I have been using this laptop for past 3.5 years now for all my computing needs which ranges from watching videos to developing android and python applications. So, I am pretty sure whatever your usage the i7 Processor, combined with 8gb Ran and 1Gb Graphics Card should be able to easily handle.
DURABILITY : 8/10
All I want to say is that Lenovo Ideapad U410 is one helluva sturdy machine. I dont play light with my gadgets and most of them don’t survive more than a couple of years but this laptop is still going strong.
FINAL VERDICT : 8/10
All being said, it is a very capable laptop for the wide range of tasks and activities performed by Students and Professionals. The only drawback, and a fatal one too is its erratic Wi-Fi that loses its connection randomly and can only be fixed once you reboot the laptop.
